This is my best canned chicken salad recipe for those days when I need a quick, no-fuss meal. A can chicken salad recipe is a lifesaver when I’m juggling work and family, and it’s surprisingly fresh-tasting. I first discovered a costco canned chicken salad recipe, but I’ve tweaked it to make my own spin—now I can’t stop making it!

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Step 1: Combine the Basics

In a bowl, flake the drained canned chicken with a fork.
